HIGH DIGESTIBILITY

Conventional poultry feeds are made with commodity soybeans which naturally contain the anti-nutritional sugars raffinose and stachyose.  Poultry feed with high levels of these sugars can result in decreased digestibility of the feed, and in some cases, diarrhea.

Prairie Melody™ Poultry Feed uses a Non-GMO variety of soybean meal that nearly eliminates raffinose and stachyose in our feed.  Our oil extraction method also denatures tripsin inhibitor enzymes which further improve feed digestion.  University studies have demonstrated improved weight gain in birds given feed low in these anti-nutritional sugars.
