Conventional poultry feeds are made with hexane to extract oil from soybeans to make meal.  Hexane is classified as a volatile organic compound and is commonly used in household and industrial solvents.

Prairie Melody™ Poultry Feed does not use hexane extraction to make our soybean meal.  Our soybean meal is made by mechanically pressing the soybeans to extract oil, leaving more of the energy for your birds.
